Best known as being a member of My Morning Jacket for 2 decades, CARL BROEMEL is a gifted multi-instrumentalist and songwriter, named by Rolling Stone among its “20 New Guitar Gods” but equally applauded for his own distinctive solo work, session work and music production. Over four solo albums – including 2019’s critically acclaimed Wished Out – the Indianapolis, IN native has forged his own unique path merging energetic musicianship with increasingly powerful songcraft that touches upon a wide array of subject matter, spanning ruminations about science, love, the passing of time, and the grind of the artistic struggle. In addition to non-stop touring with My Morning Jacket, Broemel has traveled on his own headline tours while also lending his considerable talents to a variety of other artists, including Ray LaMontagne, Wanda Jackson, Futurebirds, and others.
