Gave this to my mom for Christmas and she loved it. Super cool idea and beautifully executed. Gift wrapping was a nice touch as well, since we both got to be surprised by the end product. She hung it next to the Queen painting I did for her a few years ago. A one of a kind gift to be treasured (and a tough act to follow by my siblings. Good thing I’m the favorite).

Why do I use past tense in the title, you wonder? Well, after receiving it, I wore it everywhere. The chain, the pendant and contents within were all of great quality and had the outta-this-world piece of BRIAN MAY’s guitar string. “Is this the real world or just fantasy?!” I asked myself that every day as I shined that necklace up each morning. Then, a couple of months later, I was at a sports event (in Boston, where I reside) and it was the year the Bruins lost the cup. Why am I mentioning all of this? Well, because some guy who saw the chain around my neck, grabbed it so hard off of me while running full speed ahead down the street that I never saw the necklace again. I cried for it. People tried to help me look for it, but if you know Boston, most people were all-consumed with their team losing (and all had consumed large amounts of alcohol). And that, my friends, readers, fellow Queen fans, is why I can’t have nice things. Haha seriously though. If it comes back in stock, get one, you won’t regret it (HOW COULD YOU, y’know?!) I’ll probably purchase another when and IF I ever get the chance that it is not sold out forever. Fingers crossed!

Being a huge Queen and Brian May fan, I initially bought the Brian May bracelet, which was my first choice, as soon as it became available, and it is fabulous! However, I kept looking at the pendant, too, and had to come back and buy this, as well. So glad I did because it is awesome, too, and looks really cool. Terrific quality! So thrilled to have another great piece played by the amazing Dr. Brian May and, again, supporting his great Save Me Trust charity which is fighting to protect animals.
